Thèse d'exercice en Thèses > Pharmacie, Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier.
Résumé en français
Medicines counterfeiting is a real danger for public health. In order to fight against counterfeit medicines and their distribution to the consumer, governments have a key role to play. With this in mind, the Falsified Medicines Directive, from the European Union, came into force the 9th of February 2019. In order to be able to check the medicines authenticity when delivering them to the patient, this legislation asks pharmaceuticals company to put on each medicine unit a tamper-evident system and a data matrix barcode containing a unique serial number. This combination device is called Serialization and requires the manufacturing sites to modify their packaging lines.
